HUBBARD LAKE — Women who want to become more confident shooters can participate in a Women on the Wing pheasant hunt on Sunday at Rapid Wings Pheasant Farm, 12591 Hawkins Road, near Hubbard Lake.
Presented by Pheasants Forever and promoted by the Michigan Department of Natural Resources, the event will include clay target shooting and a pheasant hunt, with guided instruction provided by experienced female pheasant hunters.
The $75 registration fee also includes lunch and an educational presentation.
Participation is limited to 12 hunters aged 18 or older.
