BAZETTA — The Walmart on Millenium Boulevard was placed on lockdown just before 6 p.m. Thursday after a report of an active shooter in the store parking lot.
An employee said a fight inside the store spilled into the parking lot and one of the people involved pulled out a gun and fired several shots. However, no one was injured and no vehicles were damaged, according to police.
Police had a portion of the store taped off and were looking for shell casings, according to witnessses. The store reopened around 8 p.m.
The incident is under investigation.
