Logansport High School students will have an opportunity to grade their teachers at 6 p.m. Tuesday Night, Dec. 20, during a Jackbox Fundraising Night for the high school e-sports team. The event takes place at the McHale Performing Arts Center.
Jackbox Games is a video game developer that makes a series of interactive party games that range from trivia, fill in the blank and prompt based drawing.
Audience members may play along by responding and rating answers (or drawings) via the Jackbox.tv app on their phone or tablet.
Contestants during Tuesday night’s event include Logansport Community School Corporation superintendent Michele Starkey, Century Career Center dean and boys varsity basketball coach Matt Lange, Joe Stetz, teacher and the voice of the Logansport Berries on WSAL radio, Chunmei Guan (Chinese teacher), Bryan Hole (art teacher), Beth Myers (English teacher), Tucker McCord (science teacher), Andrew Bever (science teacher) and Bob Iles (Century Career Center assistant director).
Last year, the Logansport E-sports team won the IHSEN Division AA state championship in Rocket League. Rocket League is a game of soccer where the players are replaced by cars. The vehicles must ram a giant ball back and forth and try to knock it into their opponents goal.
Tickets are $5 and can be purchased at the McHale Performing Arts Center door.
