Reliance Jio, one of India’s most popular telecom operators is currently facing an outage in the country. The outage has left many Jio users unable to make or receive calls.
Unlike some previous outages, Mobile Data services are working normally for many Jio users through the outage, and it seems that only calling services are affected for now.
A number of users took to Twitter to report the outage.

Outage detection website DownDetector also shows that hundreds of users are affected by the Jio outage, with reports flying in from all major cities including Mumbai, Delhi and Kolkata.
Jio has no official statement on the outage as of now, and a cause is still not known.
