Kelly Glennon serves on review board committee of International Jewelry Group

DOVER — Kelly Glennon from Jewelry Creations in Dover visited the headquarters of the Independent Jewelers Organization (IJO) in Southport, Connecticut where she was one of five IJO retail members invited to be part of a review board to select new jewelry lines for inclusion in the organization’s Buying Group.

“Kelly was selected as a representative for the entire membership to sit on this committee because of her knowledge and expertise in diamond, colored stone, gold and pearl jewelry as well as her strong marketing know-how”, said IJO’s Director of Member Services, Penny Palmer. “We don’t buy product — our members do — so this process and these decisions are always left up to our retail members. Kelly’s contribution was invaluable.”

Kelly Glennon from Jewelry Creations in Dover was one of five IJO retail members invited to be part of a review board at the headquarters of the Independent Jewelers Organization in Southport, Conn.

“This has been both an honor and a privilege to have been chosen for this significant task, which is essential to the overall success of the membership”, Glennon stated. “Because of the strength of this first-class organization, hundreds of vendors try to get on board each year. It was quite an interesting process working with four other retail members to determine who ’gets in’ and who doesn’t. It was also quite an awesome responsibility. It was a pleasure to serve in a role that helps make IJO even stronger.”

The board spent two days examining the lines of close to two dozen companies and accepted only those that demonstrated the craftsmanship and quality to meet their rigorous standards. “I am confident the membership will be excited about Kelly’s choices and we’re grateful for her qualified input”, added IJO President & CEO Jeff Roberts. “These new lines will further strengthen our Buying Group as well as offer new opportunities for the retail membership.”

Jewelry Creations is the exclusive Master IJO Jeweler member in the Dover area and is located at 388 Central Avenue.

Newburyport Bank Donates $1,000 to the Boys Scouts of America Daniel Webster Council

NEWBURYPORT, Mass. — Newburyport Bank has donated $1,000 to the Boy Scouts of America Daniel Webster Council as a Platinum Sponsor of the Seacoast Good Scout Award Luncheon. This event will be held on Tuesday, Dec. 13, at The Atlantic Grill in Rye, New Hampshire. The luncheon will honor Outstanding Citizens Denise Poulos, Partner at Donahue, Tucker and Ciandella, PLLC, as well as Jeff Chidester, Political/Public Policy Analyst at iHeart Media Group.

The Daniel Webster Council is a division of the Boy Scouts of America, which serves all of New Hampshire. It is divided into eight geographical districts and serves all youth from kindergarten to age 21.

“Since its founding in 1910, the Boy Scouts of America has played an integral role in shaping our youth,” said Lloyd L. Hamm, President & CEO of the Bank. “As noted in their Mission, preparing young people to make ethical and moral choices over their lifetime is paramount, and by doing that, they learn how to become an outstanding citizen. The luncheon recognizes outstanding citizens in our community, and serves as an example for our young people to follow. We are extremely pleased to support it.”

Partners Bank updates logo to reflect commitment to community

The Partners Bank Executive Team proudly presents the Partners Bank updated logo and accompanying designs in front of the bank’s Sanford, Maine headquarters. From left to right are Christopher Allen, Senior Vice President - Chief Risk Officer; Anthony Cataldi/Executive Vice President/Chief Operating Officer; Jennifer Stauffis, Senior Vice President/Chief Financial Officer; Blaine Boudreau, President/Chief Executive Officer; Sean O’Connell, Senior Vice President/Chief Information Officer; and Karyn Scharf Morin, Senior Vice President/Branch Administration.

SANFORD, Maine — Partners Bank announces the roll out of a fresh logo design. The bank has long been committed to instilling community into all that they do; the updated logo has been designed to better reflect the bank’s values and the communities they serve. Depicted within the circular graphic (where the former design featured a “P,” for “Partners”) are mountains and waves, representing the communities from the mountains and rivers of southern Maine to the beaches of coastal New Hampshire.

“The pandemic was a time of change, adversity, and shifts, and with those adjustments came a deeper understanding of how important the people and the community are to all of us. It’s not about the ‘P’ in Partners Bank, it’s about the community and the people,” Blaine Boudreau, Partners Bank President and CEO says of what inspired the logo change. “We believe this new logo design represents how we have come together to provide the exceptional level of service our customers have come to know along with our commitment to the community and the people.”

This logo update is notaccompanied by any change to the bank’s name, management, staff, or Board of Directors. Customers can expect the same great service at Partners Bank branches, ATMs, and through Online and Mobile Banking. Partners Bank continues to be: “The bank that listens.”
