Fragrance.com, an online retailer of fragrances and beauty products, will open a store in Roosevelt Field this month.
The 1,000-square-foot shop, slated to open on Friday, Dec. 16, will offer more than 900 scents at discounts of up to 80 percent off regular retail prices, according to a company statement.
Fragrance.com, which has a warehouse and distribution facility in Deer Park, already has temporary retail locations at the Oculus in the World Trade Center in Manhattan and at The Westchester in White Plains. The Roosevelt Field store will be its first permanent brick-and-mortar location.
“With our warehouse out in Deer Park, we felt it was only fitting to have our first official stores in none other than New York. With our new brick-and-mortar strategy, being a Long Island business has influenced our first permanent store to be located only 20 minutes from our Deer Park warehouse” Joshua Caban, Fragrance.com’s director of retail, said in the statement. “Customers’ expectations have changed today’s retail environment and Fragrance.com has been listening. Our newest retail format includes best-in-class digital tools that enable our customers to discover all our website has to offer. In 2022, customers are expecting accommodating customer service, and Fragrance.com’s online and physical presence only further appeals to those modern expectations.”
Founded in 1997, Fragrance.com carries popular brands of fragrances, skincare, makeup, haircare, aromatherapy and candles at discounted prices. The company says it has sold more than $2.5 billion in products since its inception.
