HOWLAND — Dansel M. Spithaler, 78, died Wednesday, Nov. 23, 2022, at his home.
He was born Sept. 15, 1944, in Warren, a son of the late Dean and Margaret Manning Spithaler.
Dansel was a welder and mechanic at Commercial Truck & Trailer Co.
He served in the U.S. Navy and was member of Pleasant Valley Evangelical Church.
Survivors include is his wife, Lena P. Spithaler of Howland; a son, William Spithaler of Gustavus; a daughter, Londa Spithaler of Howland; and 11 grandchildren and 13 great-grandchildren.
A memorial will be held 11 a.m. Saturday at Pleasant Valley Church in Niles. Friends may gather from 10:30 a.m. until the time of the service Saturday at the church.
Arrangements were handled by Carl W. Hall Funeral Home.
